Jean Donaldson,"Predation in Family Dogs"   Seminar DVD about Predation, Predatory Drift and Preparedness. Donaldson is as fascinating a speaker as she is an author. Unfortunately, the sound quality on this DVD is very poor.In addition, the videophotographer kept the camera on the speaker even when she was referring to her charts. They appeared to be of excellent quality what little one could see of them. The information is very important, but there is not much new here, if anything. The introduction was a recap about selective pressure on dogs which, through the generations, has produced the dogs we now have. We learned that this topic of predation in domestic dogs has not been researched. Basically we were reminded that the predatory sequence may be triggered in any dog if the circumstances are right.

Donna Duford, Dog Talk: Understanding Canine Body Language and Communication , Seminar DVD  Duford's presentation gives the viewer important information which may very well help to prevent dog bite injuries. Lpng parts of the presentation are most suitable for viewing with clients and their families, particularly to help young school-aged children learn an important distinction between dogs whose body language indicates that they're relaxed and dogs whose body language indicates that they're feeling tense, anxious.
