Many people believe that some dogs tolerate the Snoot Loop better than the GentleLeader head halter.

Snoot Loops are available from:
Animal Behavior Consultants, Inc. http://www.animalbehavior.com
102 Canton Court
Brooklyn, NY 11229-6379
(718) 891-4200

Here's another address, but the phone number is the same:

Animal Behavior Consultants, Inc,

Phone: (718) 891-4200

The snoot loop was designed by Dr. Peter Borchelt, a behaviorist. ABC is his company.

The Sporn Harness
The Sporn Harness may be useful for dogs who would not benefit from either the GentlLeader head halter or the Halti.

For more educational information about how to use the GentlLeader head halter, please visit

http://ABRIonline.org   There you will find a videotape of Jean Donaldson introducing a dog to the GentlLeader head halter. I highly commend this lesson. It's excellent.  The steps could be applied no matter which type of head halter or harness one wished to use with a dog. The aim is to develop a dog who happily anticipates wearing the equipment.
